I moved over to MM acrylics after using Humbrol and Xtracolour enamels. I am a bit of an airbrush heathen so just pile straight in. I run a touch of MM IPA through first then mix in the paint (I only use a few drops at a time) and I get a good smooth coating almost every time. If the paint is a little thick I find a couple drops of IPA is sufficient. The only problem I have had with MM is when I accidently bought a jar of enamel and tried to airbrush that with the IPA, it didn't mix and it stank! I now swear by them!
