I challenge the assertion...

...that Canberra was torpedoed at all, much less by Bagley although friendly hulls usually suffered more than IJN hulls where it concerned surface-launched torpedo detonation during 1942 and into 1943. IMO, gunfire would more than suffice for the damage Canberra suffered to disable her; she was one of the Counties not armored during modernization.
I'm not convinced the overwhelming animus towards Fletcher is from Loxton but, rather, originates from Coulthard-Clark, who has an obvious hatred for Fletcher. Can't figure out why, either.
