1/200 Tirpitz from the 1/200 Bismarck kit...

It seems possible for one of those Model Monkey folks or other people to make the parts needed to update the Trumpeter 1/200 Bismarck to an acceptable Tirpitz model. There are lots of differences here and there between the ships, but I doubt Trumpeter will release a Tirpitz any time soon. Perhaps one of the big after-market PE/gun/mast makers could take on the project. As it is, I am going to give my Bismarck an enhanced AA outfit--as in 1943. In my history, Bismarck and PE went after Prince of Wales after the Hood blew up. Alas, Bismarck was hit eight more times by PoW, which suffered numerous hits from Bismarck and its concert in return, though it was the PE's torpedoes that proved decisive. The Bismarck lost C turret and suffered extensive bridge damage, forcing it to run for Norway. It was torpedoed four times along the way, barely crawling into a Norwegian port at 8 knots. The PE was lost, as were three British destroyers. Oh, but all this is another story. Is my insanity simply getting worse, or does making a Tirpitz update kit for Bismarck sound like a tolerably good idea?
