Buyer beware of the ISW resin kit in 1/350. I have 2 in my stash. maybe the older releases of this kit were better, but the molds have deteriorated a lot over the years. I have 2 because one was a replacement for the first which was defective, and the replacement was even worse. In both of my kits, almost all of the fittings are completely unusable. the mold halves were not properly aligned on many of them, and there are hundreds of air bubbles in nearly every piece. The hull has some big chunks of resin in unfortunate locations on the superstructure from places where sections of the rubber mold have obviously been broken off. When I do get to building this for my customer, I have a Trumpeter burke class DDG that will be sacrificed for all of the detail parts, as well as any accessory replacement that can be found from veteran models. It is a lot of $ for a "kit" that you can only use the hull and a few other parts from.
