The issue of the Wasp is pretty well known although--perhaps--not to you. One might reasonable expect that if you are aware of the Hornet hull fiasco, you are aware of other signal examples. In any event, I made no comments about the lack of fidelity of the two kits mentioned by Dick since I do not have them but I did address the general question implied.
I certainly made no comment about the Yorktown kit being shamefully out of scale although you seem to have found that. When I challenged you to support that assertion you showed us nothing but a clean pair of heels, rhetorically speaking. Why is that ?
Further, had you some doubt as to precisely what kit I was referencing a simple, polite inquiry would have sufficed. Actually, I was making a general statement--not a rant as you choose to characterize it--about the fact that the issue seems to arise in the beginning of the process since we all seem to agree that information is available and mold technology allows for the final product.
Instead, you chose to go Gangbusters and input to me comments I never made and generally being overbearing to the point of absurdity.
You owe me an apology.
