The British gunner that killed Michael Whittman is supposed to be there too. Imperial War Museum is never a bad show. The FAA museum at Yeovilton is hit or miss. Nice 1/72nd or 1/100th scale models of every British carrier but a billion Sopwith Pups gets a bit tedious after awhile. However, for some reason, they have the tester Concord there (was the test pilot a sailor, maybe?).
HMS Belfast in London is always a great day out too.
: I get to spend 4 days in England and 5 days
: in Normandy next year, any suggestions on
: military sites that are "must
: see". Just looking for some help on
: highlights so I can put the daily itinerary
