I have had one experience with a JAG resin kit. They are beautifully mastered and cast, but be careful cleaning the parts. Before starting my Belknap (as USS Wainwright 1973) I washed the parts in dish soap, soaked them in Wesley's Bleche -White, and washed them with a toothbrush and laquer thinner (I had been warned!). When I masked the weather decks for the non-skid paths everything pulled off down to the resin. I had not primed however. When I get around to fixing the project I will do that. Thanks, John
: did you wash it before attempting to prime it?

: Do I am starting a JAG USS California. I
: sprayed it with Plasticote gray Sandable
: primer, which has been perfect so many
: times. It is peeling right off the kit the
: day after priming ! Any ideas ?
