It is interesting. I am waiting for the Navy reports. The one on the two RCBs Iran took was very detailed (and "instructive.")
Also the bridge audio and accompanying explanations the Navy released after the USS Porter collision was an eye-opener. In that case, the destroyer was completely "freestyling" in the shipping lane...the captain wanted to cut across all oncoming traffic in the lane because he needed/wanted to get to an area off to his left. He just plain (recklessly) turned broadside to the in-view traffic, and counted on his ship's high performance to get him past. Wasn't "high-performance" enough in the end. "We're the Navy. We make our own traffic rules because I want to be over there, and this lane's just in the way."
So, I expect to find the reports revealing.
