If CSN (Brazil) gets the plant, do not expect any ore trains as there were last summer. This company has its own ore mining operations in South America.

: This is from a comment on a story on
: the Baltimore Brew, a news blog
: which has done a superb job of
: covering the RG Steel story over the
: past several months. Numerous
: insiders are providing comments, and
: this one just came up:
:
: Steel guy 1 comment collapsed
:
: 19 total bidders
: 15 were demo/scrap companies
: 3 were to Operate some/all Wheeling
: facilities
: 1 was to operate Warren
: 0 were to operate SPPT
:
: Sounds like there may be a little
: hope for the Ohio Valley plants, but
: sounds like the days of steel making
: in Baltimore are likely over.
:
: There are several stories on RG
: Steel on the Brew, this comment came
: from the article titled "Judge
: Rubber Stamped Bonuses for RG Steel
: Executives" for anyone wishing
: to follow the developments. I
: suspect they will run a separate
: story later this evening or tomorrow
: as more info comes in.
