BNSF train is the empty 321 coal train. The loaded train (320) is loaded in Montana and runs to the Rayland Ohio River coal dock. BNSF power stays on the train its whole trip east. The single engine train was probably some sort of local.

: Hello all. I visited Spencer yesterday
: afternoon, 4/12/12, and saw a
: westbound BNSF train come off the
: Heartland Sub and head for Bellevue.
: Also tied down in the siding on the
: line to Medina was a single SD40 and
: some cars. Can anyone tell me what
: train symbols these were so I can
: label my pictures, and also the
: story behind the Powder River train?
: I was visiting from North Carolina
: and did not expect to see this.
: Thank you.
