Interesting day around Mingo Jct. today. First up was a WB empty coke train powered by a pair of CSX units, with CSX 8724 leading a GE widecab. This train yarded at Mingo Jct. Next up was an EB 370, which was an AEPX coal train, with 3102 on the east end and 3073 on the west end.
The really interesting power was sitting in the yard at Mingo Jct, which I saw from across the Ohio River. One of the ex-Rio Grande tunnel motors was coupled to one of the Ohio Central tunnel motors. I would guess this would be power for a Dennison coal train. Hope someone can catch this interesting consist. Thanks
