The mills in the Ohio Valley are not getting help for a lot of reasons. Most go back before you were born. Management thought they were to big to fail, unions got very greedy and technology.
You're right no one should have got bailed out. The auto workers cried the most so they got it.
This environmental movement does want smokestack industry in this nation. They would prefer to have China or Mexico do the dirty work.
In order to bring new industry here it is going to have to be grassroots meaning new from the ground up.
The Ohio Valley must begin to offer more than just wore out mills and wore out philosophies.
