Some employers use that as a scare tactic,they think they are better than the people who actullaly do the work.In fact they are insecure about themselves that they get their jollies hoping someone will make a minor infraction so they can flex their muscles. I worked in a papermill for 13 years, the job was ok but management acted like we should bow down to them when they appeared they wanted to make you feel inferior.That didn't sit very well on our crew, on daylight shift the front office personnel pretty much stayed in the front office.I guess it's always going to be like that anywhere, too much we and they. There is no team effort to get the job done someone always gets greedy.
