Hotel Deadlines
The Deadline for getting in the NASA Room Block at the Super 8 Hotel, for the April 25th Meet, is 13 days from now, on Wednesday, March 25th. If you mention NASA your Room Rate until then is only $60 for a Single Room and $65 for a Double Room.

The Deadline for getting in the NASA Room Block at The Marriott, for the April 25th Meet, is April 1st. If you mention NASA your Room Rate until then is only $89. The Marriott is also the location of the Friday Night Weigh-in(6PM to 8PM) and the Annual Banquet(April 24th, 8PM to 10PM).

Annual Wisconsin Banquet
The Annual Wisconsin Powerlifting Awards Banquet will be held immediately following the Friday Night Weigh-in at The Marriott, on Friday April 24th, from 8 PM to 10 PM. See the thread, 2 threads below this thread, for the Menu.
We already have 20 people that are coming to this year's Banquet.....AT 7 WEEKS OUT. It is Good Food and a Good Time to see your Powerlifting Friends be recognized for their Powerlifting Achievements.
Lifters attending the Banquet will have their Room Rate at The Marriott reduced from $89 per night to only $79 per night. We suggest you mail in your Banquet Money with your Entry Fee for the Meet.
APT APEX Benchpress Shirt Approved
The new APT APEX Benchpress Shirt(Single Ply) has been approved by NASA's Equipment Subcommittee. It is legal in all NASA Meets, and can be used to set State or American Records in any NASA Meet.
APT has been a Sponsor of the NASA PRO Meets and Alan is a Good Guy to do business with. There is another Meet in Wisconsin on April 25th, and my understanding is that the APEX BP Shirt(Single Ply) cannot be used at that Meet. It is welcome at The COLOSSAL One Meet on April 25th, at The Waukesha EXPO Center.
Meet Discounts
Gas Discount - If you are driving more than 150 miles, one way to a Meet, you can get a $5 Gas Credit on your Entry Fee. You must mail in a copy of Mapquest, showing the distance from your house to the Meet is at least 150 miles, to receive the discount. When 3 or 4 guys carpool to a Meet, this can usually pay for gas, at least in one direction.
Quote Discount - Have Job Hou-Seye quote your car insurance, and get $20 off your Meet Entry Fee(1 time, per household, every 18 months).
State Records & Top 10 Lists
We will be updating the State Records and Top 10 Lists while on vacation from March 28th through April 6th. Some of them may be updated before then, but we will post/send a Notice/eMail when they are completed. This will be nearly 3 weeks prior to the April 25th Meet, and more than a week prior to the Late Fee Deadline.
Late Fee Deadline - The COLOSSAL One
Wednesday, April 15th, is the Late Fee Deadline for The COLOSSAL One Meet, being held at The Waukesha EXPO Center on Saturday, April 25th. Entries not postmarked by April 15th will be assessed a $10 Late Fee.
The COLOSSAL One is the combined Illinois State and Wisconsin Regional Meet, and should be very large indeed....
