Many Wisconsin NASA lifters competed in the USAPL Bench Press Nationals this past weekend in Denver. Over all approximately 15 Wisconsin lifters competed in Denver.
Hats off to our Jim Ray. He set an IPF world record of 601.5 lbs. in the bench press for M-3 SWH lifters (50-54). Jim is slated for the World Championships and would appreciate any help funding his trip in April, 2008.
Robert Crawford won M-4 SWH (55-59) with 429.7 lbs. (195 kgs.)
Jerry Jones hit 424 lbs. on a fine third attempt.
