She can ask any price she wants for the piece, just because it has sold for less on eBay does not mean she needs to price hers that way. Realistically if she wants to sell it bad enough she should think about a lower price or maybe be flexible, but again, she can ask whatever she wants. Perhaps she is just trying to recover what she paid for it.
