When I took a factory tour, they were using Elmer's glue (just a white glue). I think they started using a tiny bit of cyanoacrylate to attach the mice to their bases along with the white glue (therefore making it harder to take the mice off their bases!). Good luck...if it is a clean break, you should be able to glue your mouse back on it's base with ease.
