In doing my usual reconnaisance, I found that Clare, MI, doesn't seem to have a whole lot in town. Since I'll likely have a car if I attend, I started to fan my investigation out from Clare and soon got to Harrison (Why is that name familiar? Oh yeah, it's Mom's new home town!)
I agree; the pics are very attractive, but what caught my eye was the rental rates: The smallest vacation home sleeps 6 and goes for $125/night on weekends. Split that 6 ways and it's just over $20/night each; split it with just one other party and it's just over $60/night. That's still hard to beat, considering what you get, even if you have to put up with a few other WFF collectors for a weekend (Oh yeah, I forgot: That's what FTF is all about anyway)
Anybody else interested?
