Thanks for your kind words. We took Meadow to the Michigan State Veterinary Hospital this AM and were there most of the day. She has a full blown cataract in her left eye and perhaps the start of one in her right. She's NOT a good patient and it appears there may be some complicating factors involved in whether or not they can save the eye. So, the opthamologist suggested we wait three months and then bring her back for a re-evaluation to see if surgery is indicated in the right eye. If so, he'll do both eyes at once. If not...he'll check to see at that time if the left eye can be salvaged in spite of the other factors.
