The score line was better than the performance.Went in at half time 2-0 up through an excellent lobbed goal by Murphy supported by an excellent attempt by Clark whoes effort went in off a defender. The second half highlight was the superb through ball by Tarpey into the path of the second half sub Cheadle whoes low hard drive from the edge of the penalty box gave their keeper no chance. Ashford were a poor side with little to offer but we were still disjointed with innacurate passing etc. We are definately not a top five team at present and unless the manager is consistent with his team selection and when including new players to the squad ensure they are at least better than the players they are replacing which i am struggling with at the moment as i feel Lake etc are a step backwards. Also fans in the clubhouse bar were fairly quite after, which to my mind says they are not convinced we have the right formula or displaying the right formula for success.
