I see from this mornings The Non League Newspaper that our man of the moment..David Tarpey played for Hampton yesterday in their 2-2 draw and in the limited 5 paragraph report of the game he was mentioned 5 times,created both the Hampton goals,made the opponents goalkeeper pull off a great save from one of his free kicks and worst of all was named....Man of the Match. What hope have we of seeing him in a Walton shirt again with this sort of form and what hope have we without any recognised forwards.Thompsons gone,Moons returned to Woking and Tarpey is on fire so may be selected for Hampton again.Please,please,please lets don't lose this momentum now and start the usual slide into the lower reaches of this division after an encouraging start as with the last couple of seasons.
