Went to watch the mighty Hammers there last night and I've got to say how impressed I was by the set up especially as only a couple of years ago we were very much on a par with them. Got a ticket in the sponsors section behind the goal through a pal and the view is amazing, free beers throughout and great hospitality.
Their ground is littered with advertising boards and the set up is just so professional. Got to say I felt very jealous especially as I recognised a number of their fans from the days we played them. Also their pitch (admittably it was the first game on it this season) was fantastic and far from the "beach" I remember. They have a great deal for home games where fans of League Clubs who have a season ticket for their respective clubs get in half price so if Chelsea/West Ham/whoever are away then it attracts more support.
Hampton play Chelsea on Saturday, we I believe have Epsom, says it all really and shows what can happen with some ambition and effort........  (and yes I know I contribute nothing to the Swans but I bet most those Hampton fans don't either)
