hi everyone , Barry, Mat and I have had a busy week; we have been able to register the players in readiness for the upcoming season.
Players staying with the club from last season are Richard Stroude goalkeeper, Jorden Chealde Left Back/centre half Both these players have fantastic potential, its time stroudy stepped up to claim the no 1 Jersey he will have every opportunity to prove his worth, Jorden is a young man with many great attributes, I think he will go on to play at a higher level but he will have to learn fast this season if he is to command a regular first team place. Aaron Nowaki centre half quit simply one of the best players ive seen at this level, we have only just begun to see a fraction of what this lad is capable of. Adam Moriarity Right Midfield Adam will go on to play at a higher level no question, so enjoy him while he is with us, Jack Watkins central midfield another player that will defiantly play at a higher level, keen and hungry to succeed.
Returning players: - Matt Elverson, Tommo Carter, Mark Peters, Matt comes in as player coach, experienced and still has a hunger to succeed has a fantastic enthusiasm for the game, will be a big asset on and off the pitch, Tommo very underrated player works tirelessly for the team also has a great touch and excellent delivery, Marky.P. If he does score looks ordinary luckily for him he scores most of the time, after 3 games last season he broke his collar bone, came back too early and looked a poor player but still managed to score 6 from 9 starts Please stick with mark he will come good, he’s very much a specialist.
New signings: - Steve Symes left back left midfield player with great experience, promoted with tooting five years ago was skipper at tooting played for me in the conference south. John Boswell centre half right back six foot tall, stopper very committed to defending, good in the air a proper defender. Paul Sears a pro at crystal palace, very vocal excellent right back decent pace, good organiser, good in the air another top defender. Barry Moore Centre midfield, experienced midfielder played for me at Crawley, been promoted with Hampton, crawly and Bromley twice, instrumental in all of those sides. Craig Dunn centre midfield young man full of energy played at K’s last season really fired up for this season will give everything for the team. Zak Graham Forward played at Sutton and carshalton, Zak is a tall pacey forward with an eye for goal, Phil Cramp Forward very quick young man with a proven goal scoring record will cause defenders problems.
I have also three more players who have not registered yet, a goalkeeper who played for me at carshalton in the conference south, a forward who can also play wide right or left, and a defender who can also play centre midfield, as soon as the last of our squad are registered I will post details on the web site.
