The only positive about AMC possibly never returning is my knowing David finally won something from the Martins in Cara and their baby, the one time he never intended to fight them!

Our ending, with David in a state of hope, happiness and love around the corner, makes AMC's potential last stand palatable IMO. The one good thing Frons ever did was hire LB to pen the finale!

I don't always enjoy looks back--they can be painfully poignant and sad--but this one was fun!

It's fun and positively surreal now to see the Martins admire David back then! Full circle too in a way, beginning and ending with a beautiful doctor who was once in love with Jake! David's first AMC kiss was the one he stole from Allie at the 1997 Crystal Ball; let's just say that started my chronic need for "detuxification"!

It is full circle, and I'm sure that delightful fact did not escape LB, who created both "ends" of the circle!
