| True Wuv/Seeds of Destruction

CP has hailed Jake and Amanda as a story of epic love (CP style). CS is leaving the canvas and that love is being tested and destroyed, bit by bit by the David wrecking ball. David has just cause for his revenge, of course, and I'm delighted to see Jake writhe. The question now is how CP will finally end this debacle? We can't foresee the final exit but I think we can see how it's beginning to shape up and how J/A will be taken apart. CP has scooped for us that David ends up wanting to create the baby the old-fashioned way, despite his reasonable words about AI. As sure as anything, this is what will happen IMO, and he won't need to drug Amanda to do it. She'll consent because it'll be a situation he presents in which it will seem to be the best choice at that time. Once Jake finds out, this is his worst nightmare come true, the thing he's been dreading ever since Amanda moved into WW. He may eventually forgive her, understanding David put her in an untenable situation, but the thought of what his WIFE did with his mortal enemy of her own free will will fester. It's also possible Jake will betray Amanda, who's going along with David's demands that will, of course, include no sexual relations with Jake once her new fertilty cycle begins. But we know Jake calls a nurse at the fertility clinic and judging from the hints in Tuesday's show I think Jake may pull a switch and substitute his sample for David's. So true wuv may need to survive two huge betrayals. But the worst will be yet to come IMO if Amanda does indeed get pg with David's child … again. Jake may be able to live with her sleeping with David because David tricked her. But can Jake live with this second child in a joint custody agreement? Could he stand to look at this child's face every day it's living with them and being cared for and cuddled by them and be reminded of what David did to his wife? Can Jake treat this second child as a blessing, too? This may be the true seed of J/A's destruction: Jake's inability to accept this second child because of how it was conceived and the horrible memories attached to it. And J/A would go pfft unless Amanda terminated the pg. Which I don't think she'd be able to do? A distraught Amanda, pg with her nemesis' baby--again--semi-deserted by her husband--it's the perfect set-up for an exit!
