It's very telling when an inspid, shallow, juvenile romance is one of the "best" on the show, isn't it? LOL At one time J/A did have a fanbase, but I think it's been pretty well decimated by this awful story and worse is to come. That's why CS is so upset about turning into a hated character now. She liked being a romantic "heroine."
"If the thought of sex with David was so icky and gross to Amanda, surely she would have waited another month. It doesn't speak very highly of Amanda's moral compass that she would find waiting another month for AI more intolerable than cheating on her husband with a man she professes to despise. Amanda has a long history of doing whatever suits her own agenda and then crying victim."
I think this is part of what CS finds so hard to accept. She bought into Amanda being changed by J/A's "epic" love, loving the story and extending her contract because of it. Now she finds that epic love is forever tainted and in tatters and Amanda isn't really so changed after all. She clearly hates the new direction of the story. I get that and I don't blame her for having those feelings--I only believe it inappropriate to voice those feelings "out of school" in such an insensitive, unprofessional way.
