With CS leaving, we may well get David/Liza. Sigh. But I don't know who else on the canvas is available to him. Krystal is totally in Tad's camp and begging forgiveness, Madison is with Frankie/Randi, Erica will be a "super triangle" with Greenlee/Ryan. Just not a whole lot of choices out there.
