"She wants to believe David so she closes her eyes to the truth." That's the story I'm seeing play out on my screen. David really does make her happy. Who wouldn't want it to continue? So Nikki is giving in to her desire to remain in her blissful state of contentment rather than rock the boat. It will come back to bite her, of course. "David's story is heating up in several ways, and I think they'll both come to a climax simultaneously. " That's the way it looks right now!
