IA, I just don't see her in that role. And being that Adam just had a conversation with the #1 to his #2 and that she is likely his ex-lover, I think it's a younger Skye and the Erin role may've been dropped.
"A younger actress as Skye would be perfect as David's long-lost daughter. She could also be his stepdaughter with a huge axe to grind about how David treated her mother, always suspicious of him and the mysterious way she died!"
A step-daughter isn't a blood tie, so doesn't mean nearly as much to David in soap-opera terms--they're obviously not close as an adopted daughter might be. I also think this is a link pre-dating the two wives, those marriages investigated multiple times and which don't reach as far back as Clark's beginnings with Walter IMO. I think the past David is desperate to keep hidden goes way back, to when he first took an alias. If we do go back to the wives, however, there's no reason why Skye has to be a step-daughter. LOL She can just as easily be a bio daughter David was forced to abandon for whatever reason, maybe for good reason!
