If David and Skye were a brother-and-sister grifter team, or even bitter ex-lovers, then I could see TM in the role. I don't see her playing Adam's peer at Harvard; that would be wasting her talent and maturity!
A younger actress as Skye would be perfect as David's long-lost daughter. She could also be his stepdaughter with a huge axe to grind about how David treated her mother, always suspicious of him and the mysterious way she died!
