"The rumor going around online & in all of the mags is that Beth Ehlers (Harley, Guiding Light) is in intense contract negotiations with CBS & that she met with ABC because they want her on AMC. I would imagine ABC thinks they can bring BE on AMC & pair her with RPG & will have a popular pair. I really don't know if it'll work, but that's the rumor. GL/CBS is supposedly doing whatever they can to keep her."
I've loved BE since she first appeared on GL as Harley years ago. She's a great actress, IMO, natural, unusual and always fun to watch. She can make you laugh one minute and reduce you to tears the next. However, I don't think Frons can duplicate the magic between RPG & BE on AMC. Their characters on GL were what made the pairing work so well, IMO. However, I think RPG & RB could have some real sizzle, both superb actors and similar in their approach. You definitely have to keep me updated on this one, Proty! I tend to follow actors as opposed to characters on soaps, and RB, RPG and BE have been faves of mine for a very long time.
