The shocks are mounted inside the front springs, rather than above the upper A-Arm. It would be great to do that with a Chevette and get back the space above the A-Arm to the upper shock mount all the way up the front inner fender, but it looks like the front crossmember which cradles the front suspension is a lot wider and shaped differently than the front clip of a Chevette. So without a lot of fabrication, it looks like that's out.
But if that's out, how compatible are the upper A-Arms? Will the sway bars work? Can all those cool Fiero steering knuckle tricks to adapt bigger brakes work? Or am I limited to options revolving around dedicated Chevette parts?
Or does it make more sense to just chuck it all and adapt an aftermarket Mustang II like every other hot-rodder on earth?
