Since i bought mine ive had to do/replace the folowing:
radiator
radiator hoses
rebuild carb
replace all vacuum lines
replace master cyl 4 times
replace rear wheel cyl 3 times
replace front calipers
rebuild rear brakes
replace all fluids (trasn rearend)
fix manual trans leak due to crack in case
grease steering rack due to it hanging up
repair drivers side seatbelt
repair rusted floorpans twice
travel 300 miles away to locate 4 rims due to rust
sparkplugs
wires
coil
tires
timing belt
remove head to replace burnt valve
replace entire exhaust system
repair exhaust system again
still uses about 1/2qt oil every 1500 miles or so.
has always had oil seepage underneath
repaired/replaced darn near every interior panel due to sun baking it
this is all with a car that had 54,000 miles on it when i bought it...now has 79,000. some of that was preventative but if you dont do the preventative every one of those will leave you stranded somewhere.
i had to drive mine for about a week and a half as a daily and at first it was fun as hell but towards the end it got a bit annoying as you have to plan huge gaps to pull out on a highway, had a few panic stops and the brakes are crap when compared to modern car brakes.
