Re: brits call us out !
I have been seriously thinking about that engine swap. It is very small! much smaller than a v8 and looks like an easy fit . The FWD engines are rated @301 hp and have no exhaust manifolds. They are built into the head and only use a companion flange for the output pipe. Easy fab if you ask me. The engine is super light and the FWD manifold can be flipped to the forward intake position easily. There are some rear coolant pipes that need to be dealt with but is looks very doable . I really am thinking about it. It looks way easier than my sequential port injected, turbocharged and inter-cooled car (that I drive everyday 22,000 miles on new engine)was to build. Those engines are arriving at bone yards daily as cars today total so easy. There is not a high demand for them because they don't break much so they are affordable and the GM racing community has already hacked the crap out of the computer system so it sounds better to me every day.
