Anyways i get her out on weekends and occasionally after work and drive quite a bit and run errands etc.
Well today started right up as usual. Backed it out drive probably a good 15 min at 55mph. exited off the highway and came to a stop at a red light. car was shaking just a bit from the engine, sounded/felt like one cyl misfiring but when i snapped the throttle or drove on it was smooth as ever with normal power. came to a stop again and once it reached idle it started shaking the car again.
pulled off to a parking lot to check under the hood (loose wire/plug/vac line/etc) but didn't see anything. Fluid levels just fine no leaks (well besides the standard chevette leaks)
i unplugged and snapped all the sparkplug wires back on thinking maybe one was loose but nothing outa the ordinary and nice and clean. (new plugs, cap, rotor, and coil maybe 25K ago and used plenty of dielectric grease where need be)
when it was shaking the idle was smooth (not loping or hunting) holding rpms high in neutral it was smooth.
after i ran an errand and drove some more with plenty of red lights it hasnt done it since.
what could be my issue? I plan to take the car on a good 3hr one way road trip to chicago in a few months so i dont need any funny issues...
it should be noted it just rained yesterday and was extremely humid all afternoon yesterday. Could it have just been condensation or something under the cap? storage unit seemed dry and not humid so i dont know...
