I do not have any picture of the underside at this time. Other than the patch on the drivers side floor pan, it looks to be in great shape with only minor surface rust here and there. It has was under coated at some point in the past.
The car runs and drives, but the exhaust really needs to be done. The original cat converter is clogged/rusted to all hell and impedes exhaust flow.
I've had a lot of interest in this car overnight. People from Minnesota, Kentucky, Tennessee, Maine, New Mexico and several locals.
Many say this is the first '76 model they've seen for sale in years; and I've had offers much higher than my asking price. I'm not looking to make a killing on it at all. Just recoup my losses.
I'll be losing my ability to store it this fall when I head back to college, so sadly, all my "toys" have to go.
My short term plan was to install a 200r4 or 700r4 transmission, to gain overdrive and see what the MPG would be.
Long term plan was to install the LS1 engine I had built for my truck (both sold); or install a turbocharged Ecotec (also sold) & Solstice transmission.
Oh well, priorities have changed. The dream hasn't though. I'm sure someone will enjoy this little gem.
