Hey guys,
It's been a long time in the making, but i've finally got the new engine in my 87 Chevette. I bought the car in January 2009, pulled the old engine out in July, and finally got the new one in October 11th. I got it running, but had issues with fuel, or lack of in this case. We moved right after i installed the engine, and we are finally settled in to our new home and im ready to go back to work on it. More pics and video to come soon!
Specs:
Early 80's, low mileage bottom end. Std. bore, stock rotating assembly.
343 Open Chambered head, ported and polished, multi-angle valve job, shaved .080".
302 / 478" Bullet Racing cam.. i know.. i know.. way too big, but this is not a daily fuel economy driver.. It's a play toy to turn some heads.
Mullis Machine adjustable cam pulley
32/36mm Weber carb.
More mods to come... (Exhaust mainly)
For you guys on Facebook, here's the whole album of pics. (Add me if you want to)

For the rest here's a few...
If you look close, you can see the chrome 350 small block Chevy dipstick i used as a replacement. Some minor mods are required.. just ask if interested.
