It seems like a pretty good deal if you ask me. You could buy a new Kia econobox for 12 grand and it would depreciate faster than the monthly payments, get worse mpg and would never get the attention this rolling time capsule would generate! Its also made in North America. If you drove the car for the next 8 years, $1000 a year is cheap transportation, and we all know this car will roll three times that long. The downside is, you better have the cash up front, because the loan officers will have security escort you promptly out of the bank when you try to borrow 8k for a 30 year old Chevette! pete
