Lets start with "A". The first thing an Alignment Shop is going to tell you is that they can't and won't even try to align the front suspension if the control arm bushing are shot.
"B": The question really is how much do you love your Chevette??? If you really love it and want to keep driving for years to come...then yes it is worth it to not only re-bush it..but to also replace any and all worn-out parts on the front suspension.
"C": Yes re-bushing and replacing all of the worn-out parts on the front suspension will keep your tires from wearing out once it has been properly re-aligned after the rebuild.
An excellent place to find the parts you'll need is the Fiero Store In case you didn't know...76-87 Chevettes and 84-87 Fieros share the same basic front suspension parts...like Control Arm Bushings and such.
