Hi!
The size of the engine is your choice,depending on what you plan to do with the car.Mine have a 2.8 in it,for a street use it's perfect.The swap is easy since the engine is small.If you go with a 2.8/manual trany you will have approx the same weight as the 4 cyl/auto.With some work you can mix a camaro and chevette trany,to obtain a good trany that bolt to the v6,witht the shifter to the right place in the floor.S10 rear end is a good thing with the v6 too.
