One of my friends has a lift so I needed to do some work on my 78 Chevettes oil pan so I brought it to his house for a week. My buddy John came by the one who did all the welding to put the V6 into the car so he said while we where doing the oil pan work, why dont we do something with the floor boards and the front suspension. So we pulled the crossmember and replaced the bushings, lower ball joints, springs, cleaned everything up and also installed 83 + up brake calipers, new pads. We cut the rust out of the floorpans, bought some 20 gauge sheet metal, and welded in some new floors. After welding we seam sealed them then sprayed on rubberized undercoating inside and out. We also fixed some rust in the wheel wells, and I'll post some pics of those repairs later, but for now heres some pics of the floors and suspension.
