Hi all, I received one of those calls in August that, I am sure all of you get from time to time, from an 86 year old lady who got my number somehow. She has a 1980 Chevette coupe that she bought new and it has 69,000 miles on it. It is white with Carmine vinyl interior. New tires but a fuel line that is in need of replacement. She did not want it to go to the junk yard and was hoping I knew someone who might be interested. It's a 1.6 litre automatic, no A/C and new tires. She said to call her direct and the car is located in Waukegan, Illinois. She called again yesterday and really needs to get rid of it. It is in a one-car garage and she needs to put her regular car in the garage for the winter. She is asking $500.00 but....? Call: D. Vogel 847-249-0731. I just couldn't say no. Sorry but maybe we can help she really wants to get rid of it. I went over to see the car. Unfortunately, the doors and wheel wells are shot. I can send some images of the interior. It is an untouched parts car in my opinion. If you are looking for the Carmine vinyl interior you have a complete interior. Bumpers are very nice. Hood and liftgate are very good, dash,guages, headliner all good.
