Just wanting to ask people who probably know better than I do. Since I always do all my own repairs, I am not well versed in where to turn when I have a problem I cannot solve.
Pulled the engine from my daughter's S10 Blazer, and managed to break one of the bolts on the exhaust pipe going into the manifold. Major rust, lots of miles, no suprise.
The engine will be out, so I can pull off the manifold off that side, and take it.... where? No way am I gonna be able to get it out, don't have any easy-out tools, and its obviously well rusted.
Is this something most machine shops can do for me? There are several around, but like I said, I do things myself, so I don't know where or who to ask. Wouldn't seem hard for someone who is set up to do it. I would think muffler shops break one now and then, but most of them are clip joints, and not my first choice to ask.
So, anyone able to tell me the best place I could walk into with the manifold in hand, and have them get the broken bolt out?
Anyway, just hoping someone knows my best course of action, I know its a bit OT....
