Well, I damn sure like Rick's method better than the Chilton's method. It sounds like you use the same method that Chilton and Haynes both give. Will I be able to clearly see whether the flywheel is damaged once I get the starter off? I'd really rather not take the tranny off if I don't have to. Mostly because if I do that, I won't be able to sleep at night if I don't replace the clutch while I'm in there, and I don't have clutch money right now.
