Well, I've read the Chilton's suggestions, and it seems like a big job. I'd be happy to hear any alternate methods for getting it out. 4-speed, no A/C or power brakes. I can see the starter just fine, but according to Chilton I have to take a whole bunch of stuff off to get to the bolts.
Thanks for the encouragement, by the way. I usually do enjoy my car. That's why I deliver pizza instead of working in a kitchen. Well, that and pay. It just all piled up this week, and I hadn't slept this morning/afternoon when I typed that. Now with 5 hours of sleep, I'm at least partially ready to go.
