Thanks for the help. I've never had a starter issue before this, but I do start the car something like 20 or 30 times a night. It just surprises me that something could happen to the starter while I was driving. I had thought it could only break, you know, when it was operating.
I just took my other car to the shop and paid $100 to have the brake line replaced. So, at least I have a car tonight. I know I could have done it myself for $25, but without a lift or a garage, it would have taken me all day without a guarantee that I'd be done by the time I had to go to work.
It's just frustrating. My dog has fleas, my yard hasn't been mowed for 2 weeks, both my cars are down, I'm not making enough money, my wife has a good job but blows all her money, plus she's out of Xanax so she's testy when she comes home. Meanwhile, I deliver pizza to people I know are on welfare who drive nicer cars than me. Sorry if it makes me a prick to think that people without jobs shouldn't be able to afford a 2 or 3 year old car and pizza twice a week when I work my ass off to pay the electric bill.
/end tirade.
