1) Water pump- check the water pump bearing for play by grabbing the fan by the blades, and trying to move the bearing side to side, up and down, etc. If you loosen the fan belt first, it will make this easier to check. If you have play, replace the water pump. Also, if you have the timing cover removed from the engine, you may be able to see leaks from around the water pump area. They are not difficult to change, do the timing belt while you are in there.
As for the brake fluid squirting out, find the pinhole leak and replace that brake line.
