Hm. Well, as I mentioned before, I do leak a lot of transmission lube. It's conceivable that some is getting on the clutch. I had another chevette that leaked engine oil on the clutch, though, and it chattered when I started, but no squeaking.
I definitely had the clutch adjusted improperly for a while. My clutch cable failed, and I had to drive it for work, so I had to adjust the fork pretty severely. I guess I could have ruined the clutch doing that. I hope not. I suppose the question that remains is: will the car hold together long enough to warrant another clutch? Or should I just limp it along till it's undrivable?
