"The car also just generally runs poorly. It's hard to hold it at 55 mph, and if I'm going up a big hill, forget it. 45 is the max. The service engine light just kicked on, and it goes on and off in a pattern that my other Chevettes have taught me is O2 sensor failure. This may be related to my lack of a catalytic converter. Or not, what do I know about exhaust."
Sounds like it doesn't have enough backpressure.......
