well I talked to my mechanic and he figured it could be patched up as long as there's some good metal left there. I went home and checked and there is "some" not too much though. I wanted to fix the car up paint it and keep it long term, and a patch well I don't like the feel of that. there car obviously isn't worth tracking down a good front crossmember and doing the swap...
So... does anybody have any real "off road" experiance in these cars, like I'm talking mud and rocks puddles logging roads four wheeler trails and maybe the occasional small tree. I've got a couple good snow tires to throw on. just too bad I threw out my cut down Mercury Meteor springs to which gave me a 3" lift in the back
Must save items. Rear bumper filler panels, quarter windows, tail lights, and that purdy lookin' chrome grille... anything else?
